Join a successful business in a pivotal role working on some of their most important and technically stimulating projects as a Controls Engineer in Meath.


Our client is Irelands market leader in mobility systems for heavy duty and specialist vehicle applications. Established for over half a century, this company has gained a solid reputation in the industry. They focus on designing, prototyping, and manufacturing vehicle dynamic solutions. Our client boasts an envious portfolio of works in the defence, fire, and construction sectors. Due to their continued success and expansion, they are now seeking a Controls Engineer in Meath.


The successful applicant can work in a hybrid capacity splitting time between home and the office and will have the following duties:

  • Work on designing and programming the digital controls for power trains (electric axles, steering and suspension) in hybrid vehicles.
  • Design high and low-voltage circuits based on customer specifications using 3D or schematic modelling software.
  • Develop software algorithms through MATLAB, Simulink, C++ (or equivalent).
  • Calibrate control systems on vehicles and troubleshoot software and hardware issues as they arise.


We are looking to speak to candidates from the following backgrounds:

  • Any experience with programming controls in any capacity is an advantage.
  • Any experience with MATLAB, Simulink, C++ (or similar) is a plus.
  • Any experience with CAD software is beneficial.
  • Will consider Electrical, Electronic, or similar grads to train them up.


  • Salary: 45-60k DOE
  • Grad Salary: 35-40k DOE
