A market leading building materials manufacturer currently seek a new Contracts to join their team in the leinster area.
THE COMPANY:
Our client has over 75 years' experience manufacturing building materials for the construction industry and continue to grow from strength to strength due to the quality of their workmanship, product, competitive pricing, and professional service to their clients. The company have gone through a steady phase of growth and are involved in many projects throughout Ireland, with prominence in the Leinster area, and with a workforce in the hundreds and a turnover in the hundreds of millions they show no signs of slowing down! Due to their continued success, our client is now looking to add a Contracts Manager to further strengthen the team.
THE ROLE:
The successful Contracts Manager will hold responsibility for work carried out on multiple sites throughout Leinster. You will travel to sites in Leinster and carry out the following duties:
- Oversee daily site operations across Ireland, ensuring high standards and quality control.
- Record and report site issues, ensuring compliance with company procedures and regulations.
- Conduct toolbox talks, manage contractor teams, and maintain detailed site records.
- Foster good relationships with the site team, clients, and third parties.
- Ensure proper maintenance of materials, equipment, and safety standards on-site.
- Create realistic schedules and promote efficiency, standardization, and a safe working environment.
- Advocate for continuous improvements in product quality and long-term efficiency.
THE PERSON:
For this Contracts Manager role, we are looking to speak to candidates that have the following background and skill sets:
- Weare looking to speak to candidates that have experience in a similar role such as: contracts manager, project manager, site manager, construction manager, site foreman, finishing foreman or similar.
- Any experience within the prefabricated building supply market is a huge advantage such as - concrete, steel, timber, facade systems.
- A good eye for detail is required in this role
- You must be a level headed individual and have the ability to manage difficult situations and sometimes, difficult people well
THE PACKAGE:
- Salary: €55k-€65k DOE (Potentially up to €70k for a star)
