Business Development Representative
The Role:
An exciting full-time, permanent opportunity for a Business Development Representative to take ownership of 5 key client accounts within a dynamic B2B business development and marketing agency. You'll be the main point of contact, responsible for executing account strategies that generate and nurture commercial opportunities. Using tailored marketing collateral, you'll arrange meetings, nurture leads, and drive prospects through the sales pipeline until they're ready to buy.
As Business Development Representative, you will build and maintain targeted prospect lists aligned with client ideal customer profiles, employing a multi-channel approach across LinkedIn, phone, and personalised email outreach. You'll also attend high-profile client events held at prestigious venues, researching prospects' challenges and crafting relevant messaging to open meaningful dialogues.
This role involves proactive client communication, accurate CRM management, and collaborating closely with the Strategy Director and Communications Manager to identify new opportunities and data insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead client-facing relationships, acting as the daily point of contact
- Generate commercial opportunities by driving attendance to client webinars and events via LinkedIn, phone calls, and emails
- Identify new leads from cold outreach by leveraging insights, content, and trends
- Build advanced LinkedIn Sales Navigator lists to segment and target ideal prospects
- Manage multi-channel outreach campaigns using direct messaging and automation
- Support wider Business Development team activities across various client accounts
- Schedule meetings and demos with qualified prospects
- Deliver general account management including reporting and communication
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate CRM records
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience in Sales, Business Development, BDR or SDR role
- Proven client-facing experience
- Confident and engaging communicator, especially on the phone
- Comfortable making a high volume of calls (300+ weekly)
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Goal-oriented and target-driven mindset
- Team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills
The Package:
- £33,000 - £35,000 base salary plus £10,000 OTE
- Monthly paid uncapped commission
