Job Title: Strategic Account Manager (New Business Sales)
Location: Fully remote. London office for use whenever needed.
Salary: £34,500 OTE £69,000
Our client, a leading provider of health and safety, environmental sustainability, and occupational health training, is seeking a Strategic Account Manager to join their UK sales team.
As a Strategic Account Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities with key clients, including multinational corporations and government agencies.
This is a UK wide role, that requires occasional travel to client meetings. You can work from anywhere in the UK but must be prepared to travel to the organisations London office when needed. This is likely to be 1-3 times per month.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans for key clients, focusing on driving revenue growth and acquiring new customers.
- Sell a broad suite of digital and in-person training resources.
- Target C, and D-Level decision makers within corporate and public sector clients.
- Identify potential clients, conduct outreach, and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to win new business.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, marketing, and product development, to ensure the successful delivery of training programs to new clients.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to inform sales strategies and tactics.
- 2+ years of experience in B2B sales, with a proven track record of success in acquiring new clients and achieving revenue targets.
- Experience selling training, or similar B2B service.
- Experience targeting HR or L+D decision makers.
- Driving license and car required for occasional travel to client meetings.
- Experience in the health and safety, environmental sustainability, or occupational health training industry is a plus.
Salary: £34,500 base salary with an OTE of £69,000, based on achieving agreed upon sales targets.
