Location: London - Paddington

· Basic: £45,000 - £50,000

· Plus OTE £20,000

· Hybrid working - 3 Days pw in the Paddington office

Role Overview & Responsibilities:

Our client is looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager to primarily drive sponsorship and stand space sales on a portfolio of events within the transportation and maritime space. This role is pivotal in revolution and contributing to the growth of the entire portfolio.

  • Selling sponsorship, stand space and speaking opportunity packages.
  • Combination of new business sales, as well as some upselling opportunity within existing accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the first point of contact.
  • Attend industry events to network and source leads.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting and revenue reporting.
  • Collaborate with international offices and support the sales team in portfolio-wide initiatives.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of new business sales experience, preferably within exhibitions or conferences.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience in consultative selling, particularly digital solutions.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills.
  • Resilient, adaptable, and self-motivated team player.
  • Strategic and commercial mindset with the ability to implement initiatives.
