Company & Role:

The company you will be working with, is an independent catering meat supplier with production & distribution sites across the UK.

As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for managing new business within existing accounts as well as identifying new business and building relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will be managing existing accounts & nurturing those relationships as well as finding new business (60% / 40% split).
  • Territory is covering Liverpool, Manchester, Cheshire, Lancashire regions - North West.
  • Negotiate & providing quotations.
  • F2F meetings / Calls to clients to discuss new menu options / Christmas menus and upsell.
  • Generating leads from website and self-generation.
  • You will be interacting with Chefs, Purchasing Managers, Operations Managers & Exec C-Suites if they are in a Hotel Group.

Requirements

  • Right to Work in the UK.
  • Full Driving License
  • Proven track record of Account Management and Business Development role.
  • Price-Driven
  • Experience or Knowledge selling similar products.
  • Experience in Food Service / Catering / Butchery e.g. Bidfood, Brakes or similar
  • A strong drive to pursue new sales opportunities and own your territory.
  • Exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to work autonomously and to travel throughout the territory.

Salary & Benefits Package

  • £36,000 to £38,000per annum with £10k OTE on top. Pay day on the 20th of each month.
  • Company Car - Fuel Card. Petrol
  • Field-Based 4 days a week / 1 day working from home or in the office or casual meeting flexible on location in the region with the General Manager.
  • 20days holiday plus 8 bank holidays.
