Business Development Manager - Recruitment

The Role:

  • This is a fast paced sales environment that would suit sales professionals who want to develop their skills within a service sales process. As a Business Development Manager at BMS Performance, the core function of your role will be to win new client relationships and then retain and grow them into long lasting recruitment and training partnerships.
  • As a Business Development Manager you will be supported with a great tech stack including Salesforce, LinkedIn Insights and Cognism to help identify prospects that meet our customer profile as well as being provided with data too. As a sales person within our business you will create and nurture relationships with Sales Directors, VP's of Sales, HR Directors and Internal Talent Functions to fully understand their business, recruitment needs and on going talent strategy.
  • Most of your business will be conducted over the phone and via Teams although you will be actively encouraged to utilise a multi-channel approach to your prospecting including meetings in person, social selling, text and video. This Business Development Manager position is a hybrid role based in our office in London with two days working from home.

  • Previous B2B sales experience where new business acquisition has been a focus

The Package:

  • Salary: £35,000 to £40,000
  • A realistic OTE in year 1 is circa £10K although it is uncapped, the more you put in the more you'll get out. In year 2 and beyond top performers have been able to double their base salary in bonus so the sky really is the limit!
