The Role: As the Business Development Manager, you will drive sales growth and expand the company's customer base within the e-commerce delivery and logistics sector. This involves identifying and targeting potential clients, developing a portfolio of prospects through various channels, and securing new business opportunities to maximize revenue and margin. The role also entails strategic management of customer relationships to ensure the highest level of service and identify additional opportunities within existing customer accounts. Additionally, the Business Development Manager is responsible for developing and implementing sales plans and initiatives to achieve individual sales targets, while continuously improving their own knowledge and skills to provide the best possible standard of sales practices.

The Requirements:

  • 4+ years' sales experience in freight, logistics, transportation is ESSENTIAL
  • Has presented and sold to a client via face to face or virtual
  • A New business hunter mentality
  • Self motivated and comfortable working remote

The Package:

  • Basic salary of £48,000 - £50,000
  • Uncapped commission - (earn an additional £30,000/ year)
  • Additional £4,700 car allowance
  • 25 days annual leave + bank holidays
