THE ROLE: As a BDM within this region you will work to identify existing customers and non users and present innovative, sustainable lighting solutions and upgrades. As part of a new division in this established manufacturer, there is a huge emphasis on future energy saving products and regeneration. You will work in a team of new business sale people to generate switch products, upgrades and more environmentally friendly solutions. You will be selling a range of lighting products and lighting controls which can be stand alone or part of an integrated BMS system. The role will involve working with End Users in the public sector and commercial buildings as well as working closely with BMS and FM companies and presenting solutions and ideas. Working as part of a close knit and highly successful sales team, you will represent a profitable and forward-thinking company. This is great opportunity for a high performing new business person and there are great tech and CRM tools to support leads and prospects. Key to success in this role is a proven track record of converting leads, face to face presentations, strong sales process with effective communication techniques. We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

· 2 years or more working in field sales within a new business role to Public Sector customers

· Experience of selling to Public Sector accounts and/or Facilities Management or BMS customers

· Ability to present solutions, pitch and propose and convert leads

· A consultative, driven and professional salesperson with good attention to detail

· Understanding of lighting, electrical or technical drawings/technical aptitude is desirable but not essential.

Salary: up to £55,000 basic salary, plus up to £24k OTE, company car, mobile, laptop, 25 days holiday, pension scheme
