The Purpose of the Role of Business Development Manager - Construction Equipment:
Due to ambitious plans for expansion, our client is searching for an outstanding Business Development Manager to cover south west England. Working remotely, you will be tasked with winning new business and growing sales within existing accounts of this best in class construction equipment with utilities contractors such as Cadent, Skanska, telecoms infrastructure contractors and rail. You will be selling at all levels within these organisations, such as fleet, operations, through to board level.
For the position of Business Development Manager - Construction Equipment, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
- Structured approach to sales and excellent influencing skills
- Proven track record of success in B2B sales
- New business focused
- Money motivated and target driven
- Excellent initiative and able to work independently
- Must be well presented, dynamic, driven, enthusiastic, articulate and personable
- Driving licence
- Good IT & presentation skills - Outlook, Microsoft Office, CRM systems
Benefits of the Business Development Manager - Construction Equipment role:
- £40,000 base salary DOE + £35-50K OTE (uncapped commission)
- £5,000 per annum car allowance + 45p & 25p business mileage
- 5% pension
