Business Development Manager

Sector: Events (Vet Portfolio)

Location: London - a short walk from Kensington high street station.

· Basic: £35,000 - £40,000

· Bonus: £10,000 OTE (uncapped)

The Role: A well-established name in the events industry is looking for a dynamic and proactive Business Development Manager to join a leading vet event. Drawing on their previous sponsorship event sales experience and commercial sales experience, the Business Development Manager will sell stand space and sponsorship packages. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving new business acquisition, retaining any won relationships.

Progression : Led by an extremely supportive manager, the Business Development Manager will benefit from one-to-one coaching and training, as well as shadowing other team members. Eventually, once the successful Business Development Manager starts to earn their strips, the role will transform into a management role, managing materials, processes and eventually sales executives.

Requirements: To be a Business Development Manager in this exciting, well-established, and fast-growing company, you must have:

· 2+ years of B2B sales experience.

· Proven track record of new business sales is essential.

· Previous experience using sales methodologies is desirable but not required.

· Previous experience selling events is desirable but not required.
