Role

As a Business Development Manager you will be selling vending services, and maintenance services into the independent retail sector such as cash and carry's, convenience sector, petrol stations and supermarkets. You will be selling to a mix of decision makers including Board Members, CEOs, MDs, Area Regional Managers, Store Managers and Assistant Store Managers. The successful Business Development Manager will need to be flexible in their approach and have a true understanding of the retail or vending industry. This role is field based and you will be out most days conducting client meetings. This is a consultative approach dealing with business owners and ensuring that service levels are followed through within your region.

Requirements

As a Business Development Manager - you will be hungry, money motivated but with a concise and consultative, approach to be able to build long and trusted partnerships.

You must have experience of selling into retail independents. We will consider the following:

  • New business field sales background with experience of selling a product/service into retail businesses
  • Previously sold vending machines or other capital equipment
  • We are looking for driven, ambitious and enjoy winning new business

Salary

  • £35,000 OTE £55,000-60,000

Location: The Business Development Manager role will cover the Midlands area. You will be field based with a mixture of working from home and attending meetings with clients face to face.
