Business Development Manager - UK (Remote)

We are working with one of the best-regarded names in training management software to appoint a Business Development Manager. This is a growth hire at an exciting moment - the market is consolidating, their main competitor has folded, and the business is growing at 30% year on year.
With 100,000 customers in the UK and a strong reputation across a defined market of around 1,800 training providers, you will be joining a team that is actively picking up displaced customers and capitalising on a significant market opportunity.
The Role:
- Manage the full sales cycle: prospect, demo, meet, qualify, nurture and close
- Target Apprenticeship Training Providers and large commercial businesses with apprenticeship programmes
- Engage at Head of Apprenticeships, Delivery Manager and Training Provider level
- Work a warm pipeline - inherited leads, nurtured prospects, events and referrals; this is not a cold calling role
What We are Looking for:
- EdTech, or learning software sales experience is essential - selling a value-led product or service into the Education / Training sector
- Knowledge of apprenticeships or training providers is an advantage
- Natural, genuine and organised - someone who listens well, asks the right questions and keeps things simple
- Comfortable with longer sales cycles (3-6 months) and managing a structured pipeline via HubSpot
- Candidates must live and be based in the UK
The Package
- Base salary: £45,000-£55,000
- OTE: 30%, paid monthly and quarterly
- Travel expenses paid, pension, life assurance
- 25 days holiday
