At BMS, we've been engaged to recruit a Business Development Manager for a rapidly scaling automotive technology business. This is a new business-focused, 'win and retain' role within a high-growth commercial team targeting the UK dealership market.

• Our client is a well-known automotive technology platform transforming how consumers buy, sell, and compare vehicles online.
• Founded in 2013, the business has grown rapidly and now employs over 500 people across the UK. With thousands of dealerships already using their platform, they are continuing to expand aggressively within the dealer network market.

The Role

• Sell a vehicle marketplace and dealer listing platform into independent car dealerships.
• Target the automotive retails sector
• Blend inbound leads, database outreach, and cold prospecting.
• Manage a fast-paced sales cycle averaging around 1 week.
• Grow your accounts once you win them

The Candidate

• 2+ years of B2B phone-based sales experience.
• Automotive industry exposure
• Highly money-motivated with strong drive and resilience.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced outbound sales environment.
• Strong relationship-building skills and commercial awareness.

The Package

Basic Salary: £38,000

OTE: £63,000 (uncapped, paid quarterly)
