Business Development Manager

The Role:

This Business Development Manager role is based in the Nordics and reporting to the UK covering Sweden, Denmark, Finland, and Norway primarily. You will be selling a range of height safety solutions which are installed on building roofs or anywhere where individuals are at risk from falling whilst working. You will be selling these products and solutions on a supply only basis in the region as you will be building, and leveraging, relationships with strategic partners in the area.

The core market applications are across data centers, commercial buildings, and industrial premises either on a new build or a refurb project. The Business Development Manager will have access to market data in order to source projects months in advance, work closely with the strategic partners to understand the requirements, but also work in conjunction with sub-contractors (roofers & installers) and T1 Contractors to either be specified in at the front end, or to get an order in at the end of a project.

This is a fast paced Business Development Manager position where there will be a hybrid approach to working with time in the home office, but also out in the field. You will also be expected to travel to the UK from time to time for training.

We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • Have experience in selling construction or industrial solutions on a supply only basis
  • Understand value selling and working on project-led sales processes
  • Are able to travel regularly across the Nordic regions
  • Demonstrable track record in managing and growing partner accounts
  • Someone with a history of selling into data centers is highly desirable
  • Clean driving licence

Salary: Up to €70,000 Basic Salary DOE + €8k annual bonus + company car allowance (€7k p/a) + phone/laptop + 25 days holiday + health benefits + pension
