Basic Salary: £45,000-£60,000 (DOE)

At BMS, we've been engaged by a global data and consulting leader to recruit a Business Development Manager for their commercial property team. The Role

As a Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for generating new business and building relationships across the property and investment market.

  • Win new logo clients among retailers, shopping centres, hedge funds / PE firms
  • Lead with insight - selling data-driven consulting projects that answer key investment and operational questions.
  • Manage long-cycle, complex deals with stakeholders at C-suite, analytics and finance director level.
  • Blend leads from BDRs, events and research with your own self-sourced pipeline.
  • Typical sales cycles of 1-3 months, requiring a thoughtful, consultative approach.
  • KPI expectations include 16 meetings per month, of which at least 8 are new business.

The Candidate

We're looking for a bright, driven salesperson who has:

  • 3+ years of full-cycle closing experience selling to corporate customers.
  • Ideally within the world of consulting, data or business intelligence (not essential)
  • Knowledge of the property / commercial property sector advantageous
  • Experience selling into senior decision-makers (CEO, CIO, Directors).
  • A thoughtful, intelligent approach to business development
  • Drive, resilience, and a structured sales process mindset.

The Package

  • Basic Salary: £45,000-£60,000 (DOE)
  • OTE: +£30,000-50,000 (uncapped)
