Business Development Manager
The Role: The Business Development Manager role is working for an instantly recognisable brand within the bathroom product manufacturing sector across the globe. You will be covering an area across the North of England which spans from Cheshire through to the Scottish borders. In this role, the Business Development Manager will be selling two core branded ranges of sanitaryware such as sinks, toilets, baths, showers, trays, furniture and taps used in both residential and commercial settings.
This is a 360 sales role where you will spend 50% of your time with the contractors, specifiers, and washroom specialists working on projects to get spec'd in (if you aren't already) or to influence them to use your collections. The other 50% of your time will be building long-term relationships with the national and independent merchants across the region where all of your sales activity will ultimately go through. As such this role will suit someone who is organised, driven by hunting for projects, and relationship building across all stakeholders in projects.
The Business Development Manager is joining an established team in the field, a great internal sales network in their UK head office, and with new leadership at the top of the UK team you'll be joining a business who have a plan to double their growth within 5-years, create new roles for people, and enhance careers.

We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
- Have a 'hunter' mentality to sales activity within the construction industry
- A hunger, desire, and passion to find new projects
- Understanding of the sales process within the construction industry
- Clear communicator both written and verbal
- Team player, organised, and have strong sales potential
- Full & Clean Driving licence
Salary: £40,000-£48,000 basic salary DOE + 20% OTE (paid annually) + Hybrid Car + Pension (up to 7% company contribution) + life assurance scheme + income protection + 25 days holiday
