BMS Engineer
BMS ENGINEER - BUILDING MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS
Our client, a respected provider of building management and energy control solutions, is seeking a BMS Engineer to join their expanding field service team. This is a full-time, permanent role covering Galway and the West, offering an excellent salary package, company vehicle, and long-term development opportunities.
COMPANY:
Our client delivers BMS installation, service, and energy optimisation solutions for commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical, and public-sector clients. They support projects from design through to commissioning and long-term maintenance. Due to continued growth and new service contracts across the West, they are now hiring an experienced BMS Engineer.
THE ROLE:
The BMS Engineer will be responsible for:
Providing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of BMS systems on client sites.
Diagnosing issues with controllers, field devices, sensors, I/O modules, and system networks.
Making software and hardware adjustments to restore and optimise system performance.
Carrying out minor installation, upgrade, and commissioning work when required.
Delivering high-quality technical support and customer service.
Working as a field service engineer covering Galway and the surrounding areas.
Standard working hours: 8am - 5pm.
THE PERSON:
Our client is seeking candidates who:
Have experience with BMS hardware and software.
Possess knowledge of controls logic, system architecture, and networking.
Have prior experience with Tridium, Cylon, or similar BMS platforms (highly advantageous).
Possess strong fault-finding and commissioning skills.
Are self-sufficient, customer-focused, and comfortable working independently.
Hold a full, clean driving licence.
THE PACKAGE:
Base Salary: €60,000 - €90,000 (DOE)
Vehicle: Company van + fuel card
Pension: 3.5% contributory
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm
Other: Training, overtime opportunities, future progression
