The Role
As Area Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for developing business across the South of the UK, working with a mix of new and existing customers.
The role combines proactive business development with managing incoming opportunities, giving you full ownership of the sales cycle from initial engagement through to project win. You'll work closely with stakeholders across operations, procurement and project teams to deliver solutions aligned to client requirements.
This is a field-based position offering a high degree of autonomy. You'll be trusted to manage your own time, pipeline and regional strategy, making it well suited to a self-sufficient sales professional who thrives without day-to-day supervision.
The Candidate
- Proven experience in B2B sales within a technical or solutions-led environment
- Demonstrable ability to operate autonomously and manage a territory independently
- Experience selling into sectors such as construction, infrastructure, engineering or related markets is advantageous
- Able to manage longer sales cycles and multiple stakeholders
- Structured, self-motivated and commercially focused
- Exposure to formal sales training methodologies (e.g. MEDDICC, SPIN, Challenger or similar)
- Full UK driving licence
The Package
- £60,000-£65,000 base salary
