The Role of Area Sales Manager :

As an Area Sales Manager you will be responsible for selling a range of engineering solutions to OEMs and end user manufacturers across the North West and North Wales area, looking to gain specifications with engineering managers and technical tool makers to use your range. Your broad customer base will include automotive and aerospace OEMs, tier 1 and 2, mechanical engineered component manufacturers and furniture manufacturers as well as then developing local and national distributor relationships to maximise the reach of your products in the region. Key to success is strong relationship building and technical expertise as well as resilience and a hunger to convert competitor relationships.

For the positions of Area Sales Manager - North West, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • Hands on mechanical engineering experience selling in a technical route to market
  • Practical experience of using metal cutting or finishing tools and abrasives is desirable
  • Strong focus on new business and face to face selling
  • Ethical and transparent approach to dealing with customers & colleagues
  • Excellent team player & enjoys a collaborative work environment
  • Must be resilient, well presented, dynamic, driven, enthusiastic, articulate and personable
  • Driving licence

Benefits of this ASM role :

£40,000 to £49,000 basic salary DOE

£6k bonus paid annually
