The role of the Area Sales Manager

As an Area Sales Manager, you are tasked with 6 visits to existing and new clients per day to introduce, up sell and place new orders with clients. Your client base is made up of independent retail (Discount stores), Wholesale (Cash and carry) and garden centres. They stock over 900 products in their range and you are tasked with educating clients on the best products for their customers and ensuring they are aware of any new products being launched. Your role will eventually be made up of 70% account management and 30% new business. Your role will cover from North Wales to Hull so there is an expectation for you to be in the field 4.5 days per week.

Requirements for the Area Sales Manager role

· 2 years + Field sales experience (Need to be out in the field 4-5 days per week)

· Happy to spend 1 night a week away

· Experience selling into garden centres, discount stores and /or wholesale is ideal

· Driven and used to closing deals the same day (Majority of the time)

The Package on offer for the Area Sales Manager

· £36k basic + 6k bonus paid quarterly

· Fully expensed company car (New hybrid cars on order for January)

· Mobile, Laptop, Pension

· 25 days holiday + bank holidays
