Area Sales Manager

The Role of Area Sales Manager - Electronics: As Area Sales Manager for central UK, you will be tasked with growing sales of their high quality but competitively priced range of adhesives, encapsulants, coatings and lubricants applied to electronic component and circuit boards. The customer base will be any manufacturer of electronics, in sectors such as military, consumer and industrial. This is a consultative process, so you will only be making 6-8 customer visits per week. The role is an even split of account management and new business development, where you will receive incoming leads. A typical week is out in the field, in front of customers Monday to Thursday and Friday working from home with a 3pm finish.

For the position of Area Sales Manager - Electronics, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • Field sales experience, ideally selling to industrial / manufacturing markets
  • Must be well sales trained and have a proven track record of hitting targets
  • Tenacious with a consultative / problem solving approach to selling
  • Must be well presented, professional and ambitious to grow your career
  • Able to spend the occasional night away from home
  • Driving licence

Benefits of this Area Sales Manager - Electronics:

  • £40,000 - £45,000 base salary DOE, plus uncapped monthly commission £6k 1st year
  • Plug in hybrid SUV company car
  • Finish at 3pm on Fridays
  • 25 days annual leave + Christmas shut down + Bank Holidays
