A market‑leading electrical products supplier is looking to appoint an Area Sales Manager to manage and grow an established territory across the North of England.
Founded in 1988 and part of a large international group with $1.7bn global turnover, the business is recognised for product innovation, quality and operational strength. With 4,000+ products, high stock holding and 24-48-hour delivery, the company operates as a true one‑stop shop for independent retailers and buying groups.
The Role
* Field‑based position (4 days on the road, 1-day WFH)
* Manage an existing customer base with growth opportunities
* 80% account management / 20% new business
* Sell a broad, varied product range
* Visit 4-6 customers per day
* Build relationships with owners, buyers and procurement managers
Requirements
* 2+ years B2B field sales experience
* Experience selling a broad or varied product range
* Strong relationship‑building skills
* Organised, adaptable and self‑motivated
* Comfortable managing a regional territory

* £38,000-£45,000 basic salary
