Area Sales Manager

The Role: This Area Sales Manager role will see you covering the North of England and buddied up with an external design manager to support you with visits, technical drawings, and putting the customer first. You will be selling a market-leading range of racking, shelving, and storage solutions for a UK business selling into a vast array of commercial & industrial end users who have such a requirement.

Working on projects from £2k through to £250k, the Area Sales Manager will have their diary booked for them via the internal sales team so you can focus purely on putting the customer needs first, planning and executing the site survey, and then drawing up the plans yourself.

This is a technical field sales position where project & pipeline management skills are key, team working with the other members of the business, as well as pushing the number are all within your responsibilities. This role will suit a technical sales professional who has a history of conducting site visits, surveys, and designing solutions for space fitting applications.

We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • Have a track record of conducting site surveys as part of your sales process
  • Have an appreciation of project management & installation based sales
  • A history of working with space fitting and planning solutions
  • Field sales track record
  • Ability to read technical drawings is a major advantage
  • A working knowledge of AutoCAD and iPad360
  • Full & Clean Driving licence

Salary: £50,000 basic salary + 10% OTE (capped at 30%) + Hybrid Mercedes company car + Pension + 25 days holiday + healthcare such as Vitality after probation
