THE COMPANY: Established in 2014 and born out of a previous medical distributor the business has a diverse portfolio of products across Otolgy, ENT, plastics and Neuro. It is now a thriving medical distributor with a very experienced and passionate management team. They have ambitious plans to segment the product portfolio and give career opportunities to people wanting to specialise in a clinical area. They are looking for bright, experienced medical candidates to drive the business areas and improve their presence in the NHS.

JOB: A fantastic sales opportunity exists within a growing healthcare SME. As Area Manager for the Midlands region, you will work across an established product area and seek opportunities to upsell, cross well and maximise the business presence within their neurosurgery & ENT portfolio of devices and consumables. They have excellent training, product support and clinical trainers to provide education and technical support but candidates will need to demonstrate a passion and aptitude for learning technical products and absorbing clinical information. Typical touch points in the NHS will include surgeons, theatre teams, procurement, consultants, nurses. Tasked with growing an existing account base, this is an involved, hands-on role with daily travel across the Midlands. Someone who has sold into theatres and worked in high pressured environments in hospitals will be at an advantage. A hospital sales rep who can network, upsell and cross- sell effectively within NHS trusts is a great asset in this role.

Territory: East and West Midlands Territory

For this Area Sales Manager role, we are looking for the following:

  • Technical product or a solution sale into hospitals
  • At least 18 months of territory management experience
  • Able to build long lasting relationships
  • Ability to sell across a varied portfolio
  • Clinically driven salesperson ideally with theatre sales experience

The Package for Area Sales Manager:

  • Basic: up to £55k (depending on experience)
  • Commission of £25k (uncapped)
  • Company car
  • Benefits: Mobile, Laptop, Pension Scheme included.
  • Holidays: 25 days.

The successful candidate will live on patch, ideally in the West or East Midlands area.
