Account Manager - Blood gas analysers and POC diagnostics

THE ROLE: As Account Manager, the successful candidate will be managing key clinical, scientific and commercial relationships within pathology labs, theatre, anaesthesia, obstetrics, critical care and procurement in the main, typically liaising with ODPs, nurses, obstetricians, scientists and testing teams. Full product training is provided and career and earning potential is exciting and realistic and you will work closely in partnership with your clinical applications specialist.

Thanks to the quality, speed, and accuracy of their diagnostic devices, they have over 50% market share across the portfolio, so no door will be closed to you in this role. A well-deserved internal promotion means that they are currently seeking to recruit a suitably experienced sales, clinical or scientific professional to manage and grow their business within Scotland and Northern Ireland (candidate location needs to be Scotland).


  • Successful track record in hospital sales and understanding of POC diagnostics
  • OR clinician with experience in point of care testing looking to get into sales
  • OR an ODP / Biomedical Scientist seeking a new challenge
  • Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points

The Package for the Account Manager role:

  • Basic: £50,000 depending on experience
  • Bonus: £8,500
  • Car: Fully expensed company car. Plug-in hybrids and electric options (the company will also contribute £500 towards the installation of a charging point at your home)
