THE ROLE: As an Internal Sales Consultant you will be responsible for selling products used in manufacturing. This exciting position will require you to be both proactive with your calls but then also respond to incoming enquiries from companies on your call list. Your role will be split between account management, where you will be responsible for nurturing your client base and offering support and upselling wherever possible. As well as new business, which will come from database searches, manager leads and self-sourced information, making this a great first step into the world of sales or perhaps a role to further to develop what you have already learnt in a sales environment. Taking orders anywhere from £1k-£10k you will be dealing with Depot Managers, Procurement Teams and Purchasing Departments.

THE PERSON: To be considered for the role of Internal Sales Consultant you must be confident on the phone and have some exposure to perhaps customer services or even some sales. Our client is looking for candidates they can develop into successful sales executives. Experience in B2B is advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided. You will be a strong communicator who is personable, motivated and eager to progress.

THE PACKAGE FOR INTERNAL ACCOUNT MANAGER:

  • Salary: £20,000 – £23,500
  • Bonus: £5k on top
