THE COMPANY: Established over 20 years and with a multi-million turnover, our client is enjoying some excellent growth, hence their current requirement for a new Business Development Manager. They offer software solutions to the engineering sector, offering an end-end solution depending on the customer’s requirements. This role will be 100% office-based, and their office is located in Belfast.
THE ROLE: As the successful Internal Sales Representative you will be responsible for selling the full range of solutions, focusing on SME-Large engineering firms in Northern Ireland. This is a 100% New business role, you will not inherit an existing client base and will be responsible for generating new accounts and revenue for the company. You will target MDs, Owners, Operations Managers, etc, when selling this solution.
The Person: The successful applicant will have demonstrable experience in an internal sales role with strong NEW BUSINESS and telesales skills. Experience in IT sales/subscription sales is highly desirable but not essential. You must have a proven track record of success in a high-volume B2B sales role – you must be able to show you have worked towards KPIs, targets, generated revenue in your previous roles. You will be results-driven, ambitious, and structured, with the ability to liaise with senior decision-makers. You must have a strong hunter mentality when it comes to sales, and enjoy high volume new business style roles.
BENEFITS OF THIS BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER ROLE:
- Basic Salary: £30,000-£35,000
- Bonus: £20,000 – £30,000+
- 28 days holidays
