How we helped The Phillips Screw Company fill multiple Key Account vacancies

Having worked with BMS for almost 2 years, in particularly with Rob, all our core values are fully understood and the candidates that are put forward to us have the same mindset.
What was it like to work with BMS?
The Key Account Roles we have recruited for are the first for the company, and we wanted to find the correct partner to work with. After many meetings with several recruitment companies, we met with Rob at BMS. During that first call we just knew that Rob was the person to work with, he got us, and he got what we were looking for. This first call has lead to a very open and trusted partnership and we have worked on a Contingency offering at first and have now moved to a retained service.
The positions we have used BMS for are quite unique in the way that they are for an entry level Key Account and Sales role, this did provide some challenges. The ideal candidate would be already working in the building sector and have experience dealing with merchants. Rob did make us aware from the very start that this may be an issue, we were recruiting for an entry level Key Account role and that demographic may not be there. He advised that looking for emerging talent may be the way forward, an up-and-comer with the desire to improve and forge a new career in a sales environment.
It is very clear that the search for candidates is very detailed and not a scattergun approach.
Rob took a great deal of time to personally run through all the profiles with a covering video to give a better insight into each candidate.
We found this to be extremely beneficial and provided a greater insight to the individuals that a C.V does not give.
We have just placed our third and fourth Key Account Manager with the help of the team at BMS. Rob came to me during the recent process to explain how he needs to look outside of our industry and into different talent pool to fulfil a position in the South East. Because Rob fully understands our core values and the role, I put complete trust in his suggestions and we found the perfect person for the position. Whilst going through the process in the South East an additional position became available in our team which we wanted to fill as quickly as possible.
Within a two week period we had conducted first and second interviews and the successful candidate has joined the business.
What did BMS do that really stood out?
Recruiting new staff is not easy but Rob and the team at BMS take their time to understand your business and needs. They do not inundate you with endless profiles of candidates who do not fit your brief just to tick a box. They put the right people forward and work closely with you throughout the whole process. Since working with Rob our recruitment process has been smooth, efficient and we have always got the right people in at the right time.
