THE COMPANY
Established as a business in the late 1980’s our client is one of the leading players in the resin/cement based flooring world. They have a proven track record of developing sales reps and taking them to the next level. They see themselves as dynamic organisation with an outgoing and work hard, play hard culture. As a company, they pride themselves on always providing their customers the expertise and cutting-edge technology. Due to increase in demand in QLD region they are now seeking for a technical sales engineer to join their organisation.

THE ROLE

  • You will be responsible for winning new projects/business and maintain existing relationships across the QLD region.
  • Selling resin base cement flooring coatings systems designed provide an attractive, easy to clean surface for commercial buildings and projects.
  • Some of the typical end users/projects they are strong in are retail, hospitals, schools, universities, and sport centres.
  • You will be responsible for the full sales cycle from getting the products specified in with appointed architects/consultant, following the process to the contractors and dealing and consulting with the actual end user customers.
  • The sales can be anywhere from 6 months to 18months. A new business/projects sales position dealing on a daily basis with specifiers, consultants, project managers, project engineers and the end users directly. Fully fledged Product Training.
  • You will be working alongside the State Manager NSW and the Director.

THE CANDIDATE:

  • Most Important Thing: Proven track record as a technical sales professional within the building/construction market.
  • Prior experience within the construction chemicals/ flooring additives industry is highly preferable.
  • Our client has indicated that candidates from a background selling highly technical and structural or technical construction products to civil/commercial builders or architectural specifiers would also be considered.
  • You may have cut your teeth in a construction sales role, hit the ceiling in your current role and are now looking for the next step or a new challenge. This could be the perfect role for you!
  • Our Client would like someone who understands the technical aspect of their product and can hit the ground running.

    You will be rewarded with a highly competitive package which includes a base salary of 90k base, super, car allowance, mobile phone, laptop, and generous bonus scheme.
