Technical Sales Executive – Formwork

Up to 100k base + Fully Maintained Vehicle + Commission/Bonus + Super

THE COMPANY

Established as a business in the 1950’s our client is one of the largest formwork companies in the world. They have thousands of people working for them globally.

As a company, they pride themselves on always providing their customers the expertise and cutting-edge formwork technology.

Due to an increase in demand in QLD region they are now seeking for a technical sales engineer to join their organisation.

THE ROLE

You will be responsible for winning new projects/business and maintaining existing relationships across the QLD region.

Selling formwork systems designed to supplement and support of the construction of large civil and commercial construction projects. You will also deal with Formwork contractors on a daily basis.

Aggressively target competitor spaces to win new relationships and new business.

This role is a mix winning new business and managing existing projects dealing on a daily basis with procurement, owners, site managers, project engineers etc.

This is a highly technical position and will see the sales executive dealing with average deal sizes ranging from $10,000 up to $1million.

Fully fledged Product Training. You will be working closely with Managing Director.

THE CANDIDATE:

Most Important Thing: Proven track record as a technical sales professional within the building/construction market.

Experience selling to Tier 1-2 Civil, Commercial Builders and/or Formwork Contractors with an understanding of the hire industry would be hugely advantageous in your application.

If you have the experience and the understanding of selling complex formwork/scaffolding systems, this could be the perfect role for you.

Prior experience within the formwork/scaffolding industry is highly preferable however our client has indicated that candidates from a background selling highly technical and structural construction products to civil/commercial builders would also be considered.

Our Client would like someone who understands the technical aspect of their product and can hit the ground running.

You will be rewarded with a highly competitive package which includes a base salary of 90k-100k base, super, fully maintained vehicle, mobile phone, laptop, and generous bonus scheme.
