The Company: A Market Leading Global Educational Company is looking for an instrumental Account Manager to cover an important portfolio across Metro Sydney and Regional NSW.
  
Selling a comprehensive suite of online learning tools our client has a large percentage of the market place in schools already.
  
Having been established for a number of years does not mean that business comes easily; therefore it is paramount in the current climate that they stay ahead of their competitors by recruiting the best candidates.
  
The Role: This is an excellent opportunity to work as a strategic account manager for a well respected Global Company.
  
Online learning is the way of the future and the majority of Education channels are finding the increased access and usability of solutions on offer are enhancing the overall learning experience for students.
  
Focusing on a series of existing Schools your main aim is to cement ongoing relationships and educate teachers and academics on the value proposition you have to offer students. You will also be mentoring a Junior Consultant from a training and support perspective.
  
Liaising with academics daily will be a large part of this role, therefore an element of compassion and excellent communication skills will give you the necessary attributes to work within this price sensitive market.
  
This will be a very autonomous position and will suit an accomplished time manager and self motivator.
  
The products on offer are online focused and we inevitably require demonstrations and presentations to clients; therefore you will need to be technically online proficient and confident standing in front of piers.
  
The Candidate: The ideal candidate will have sold a product to the education market.
  
Candidates with a degree will be looked on favorably.
 
An interest in emerging technologies and online solutions will mean you have a natural passion for these solutions.   
Excellent communication skills are a prerequisite as you will be speaking with contacts that need to be approached carefully, therefore aggressive tactics will not work well.
