THE COMPANY 
  
Employing over 1,000 staff worldwide, and have established for over 70 years, our clients are one of the world’s leading manufacturers and suppliers of Industrial racking and electrical hardware products. These racking solutions are heavily used by End User customers predominately in the SME space. With an HQ in Western Sydney, the company is currently seeking to bolster their internal sales team and hire an inside sales professional!
  
THE ROLE

  • You will be going to their state of the art office in Western Sydney daily. Working closely with other members of the sales team (i.e., internal and external).
  • You will be responsible for the following: 1.) providing quotes, 2.) qualification of new customers, 3.) answering inbound calls – problem solving, 4.) general administrative task and 5.) product and sales training.
  • You will be selling our client’s whole product range of racking solutions to primarily an SME customer base.
  • Understanding of technical concepts especially with manufacturing/electrical/electronics is important as you will be providing your clients technical support and recommendation.
  • You will be reporting to the Sales Manager who would also provide you ongoing product and sales training.

THE CANDIDATE

  • The most important thing: You must have a genuine passion for sales and customer service.
  • Ideally, you will come with 1-2 years of sales experience in the industrial space however it is not required.
  • In addition, if you’re on the tools (i.e., service technicians) working in the industrial space, your application would also be strongly considered.
  • In terms of soft skills, we are looking for someone who is technically switched on, communicates well and eager to learn!
  • You may also be a fresh university graduate looking for your first shot in a sales environment.
