Territory Sales Manager, Northern England – PPE / Workwear

Location: Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds

  • Selling to Merchants, Agriculture and Industrial End Users

The Role: We are looking for a highly motivated Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing relationships across the North of England with merchants, agriculture and industrial customers, selling a full range of PPE and workwear. They are a member of the NMBS so the there is a full contact list for you to engage with.

Key Responsibilities for the Territory Sales Manager:

  • Consistently achieve monthly sales targets
  • Set and initiate growth plans for the future of the territory
  • Prospect, identify and nurture your own pipeline
  • Ensure high levels of customer service and establish strong relationships with customers
  • Ensure good administration and maximise efficiency and service
  • Follow through on all opportunities
  • Book your own appointments and manage your time effectively
  • Journal plan to ensure minimal time in the car
  • Introduce new products to your customer base
  • Produce weekly sales reports
  • Take customers to the showroom in the North West to present products
  • Where possible reduce travel/accommodation costs

We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

· You must have a business to business sales background

· You could be looking for your first step into field sales

· You could have been working in internal sales within tooling, plumbing & heating supplies, Construction materials, PPE or workwear etc.

· You must be results oriented and can work independently, you must be focused on securing new clients, retaining and growing a profitable account base

· A strong communicator with well-developed presentation, negotiation and rapport-building skills

Candidate Location: You must live along the M62 corridor

Salary:£25,000-30,000 / OTE £31,000-36,000, with a mobile phone, laptop, pension and a company car or car allowance
