This Premium Distributor / Marketer of electrical and household appliances as well as being the distributor for a well known spoting accessories brand is looking to recruit an Account Manager in Melbourne to sell through major retailers.
With a fantastic brand name and excellent company culture, our client has a great reputation being hands on with their customers and is in a period of growth currently.
Focusing on the major retail accounts your role is to educate franchisees on the features and benefits of the product portfolio and how you brand can drive their business.
Visiting approximately 4-6 stores daily, you must manage and organise your time effectively. You will also be required to travel interstate 4-5 nights per month.
Building relationships and training your store staff is of huge importance. Your role is to ensure the retailers believe in your products as they will be the ones selling them on your behalf.
You will also be given a selection of Department stores to grow and provide brand support.
Candidates who are hands on with their customers and willing to do everything from dealing with managers through to training and merchandising would be well suited to this position.
The ideal applicant will have retail account management experience.
Previous experience selling consumer electronics is a benefit however not a deal breaker.
Experience of selling high ticket and premium products will enhance your chances of selection. This could include, Jewellery, Whitegoods or Browngoods.
