A major national organisation with a national workforce of over 100, and a strong portfolio of international brand names our clients are one of the country’s leading suppliers of OTC pharmacy, vitamin, and health products. Founded as a business since the late 80’s the company have gone from strength to strength, adding strong brands to increase their product range, and add value to their retail and pharmacy accounts that they service. Having enjoyed a strong period of stability in their SA business the company are seeking to recruit a Sales Representative to join their existing SA sales team.
This is a highly autonomous role covering Adelaide South with 1 regional trip per month for 2 day to Mt Gambia. You will report back to the State Sales Manager VIC/SA and will be directly responsible for the development of your geographical territory; servicing a range of pharmacy groups, and independent pharmacies, you will operate as both a sales and merchandising capacity aiding the pharmacy groups to broaden their product mix, and to advise them of the best method to represent the brands in the portfolio. There is also some work with independent retail customers, and in this capacity a lot of the focus will be on range selling and up selling. The territory is currently performing well, so the focus of the Sales Representative will be on range selling, NPI and on enhancing the relationships that existing within the accounts.
A passionate and well developed sales professional, you should arrive with a strong sales background having sold branded products into a range of pharmacy and retail accounts, and be adept at implanting and developing planograms; our clients are really seeking a high achiever whom has a background in achieving targets and key objectives, whom is both professional and dynamic in their approach to managing their territory and account base.
