THE COMPANY: Established nearly 30 years ago, our client occupies the number one position within their market. They sell to all the Tier 1 contractors in Ireland and are looking to expand their team in Ireland. They now require a Specification Sales Manager to cover a nationwide role. They are an established company with ambitious plans for growth within the Irish market.

THE ROLE: As Specification Manager for this ambitious company you will be covering a nationwide role, supplying energy efficient building systems to the residential developers, specifiers and self-builders. Working with a premium product you will be working with customers on a project basis to fulfill their specific requirements. You will be responsible for the project from the initial sale right through to completion/installation, so an understanding of sales and project management is essential. They have a strong account base in Ireland already, and working for such a prestigious company in the construction sector means there will be many opportunities to sell your solutions.

THE PERSON: You will have demonstrable experience in a technical project-based sales role, with a strong knowledge of the construction sector in Ireland. Ideally, you will be coming from a specification sales background, however, if you have experience selling to the residential contractors at site level then you will also be considered. Each project is unique to the customer therefore each solution is bespoke. Specific market knowledge is advantageous but not essential. Crucially the successful applicant will be confident, outgoing, and keen to learn a technical product.

FOR THIS PROJECT SALES MANAGER POSITION, WE ARE LOOKING FOR INDIVIDUALS WHO MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:

  • Strong Construction sales experience
  • Experience selling to the Residential Developers
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Experience within the construction industry in Ireland
  • You must be motivated, driven, energetic, and a self-starter
  • Polished and well-presented

BENEFITS OF THIS ROLE:

  • Basic Salary: €55,000 - €75,000
  • Bonus: €7,000 - €10,000
