The role of Technical Sales Manager will see you selling a market-leading range of pneumatic tools, equipment, and accessories into the petrol forecourt marketplace. You will be dealing with the likes of BP, Shell, Texaco, and the major supermarket petrol businesses across the UK and globally where necessary. The Technical Sales Manager is a predominantly account management led sales role with a highly technical spin. You will be supporting your clients with new installs, designs, and forecourt rebrands. In addition to supporting them directly, you will also work with specialist distributors to sell product through that channel and also add technical help & support where required.

Furthermore, the Technical Sales Manager will handle a small number of OEM clients in the UK who manufacture forecourt vacuums, pumps, and washing facilities as your product will end up in their equipment.

This is an excellent role for a budding electrical or mechanical engineer who wants to get into technical sales, or for someone who has a few years sales exposure and wants to kick on with a major manufacturer.

We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • Have a technical background: electrical, electronic, or mechanical
  • Commutable to Sheffield
  • Industrial, Engineering, or construction product sales background
  • Have drive, energy, and strong territory planning skills
  • A background selling into petrol forecourts would be beneficial
  • Full & Clean Driving licence

Salary: £30,000 basic salary + £8-12k OTE uncapped + Car + Pension + Healthcare + 25 days holiday
