Due to expansion a fantastic role has presented itself to us selling heavy side construction products into Architects, Specifiers, Consulting Engineers and main and sub-contractors as well as installers, fabricators and merchants. The role of Specification Sales Manager is centred around delivering CPD seminars in order to win specifications with Architects and Consulting Engineers for any new commercial projects that they are working on.

THE ROLE: Due to expansion a fantastic role has presented itself to us selling heavy side construction products into Architects, Specifiers, Consulting Engineers and main and sub-contractors as well as installers, fabricators and merchants. The role of Specification Sales Manager is centred around delivering CPD seminars in order to win specifications with Architects and Consulting Engineers for any new commercial projects that they are working on. Delivering products mainly used in the construction of large commercial buildings, the role of Specification Sales Manager will see you using a range of resources such as Barbour and ABI to identify potential projects and leads, however, our clients name is well known in the market place, so you will also have a lot of referral business to develop and work on too.

THE PERSON: In order to be considered for the role of Specification Sales Manager, you must be able to show at interview that you have a technical appreciation and that you are driven to succeed. Ideally you will come from a construction background, but this is by no means a necessity. Our client has a fantastic training programme on offer for successful candidates and so will look to take on those at the beginning of the sales career, with say maybe one to two years sales experience gained in any arena.
