SUCCESSFUL EUROPE-WIDE COMPANY: A globally known business with a large UK operation servicing retail, warehousing and logistics businesses, group owned and independent hotels and the NHS. This company have over 40 sites in the UK and are investing heavily following an acquisition by a French company early in 2018.
THE OPPORTUNITY: You will be responsible for preventative maintenance and breakdown repair of machinery in a fast-paced production environment including hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, gearboxes, motors, 3 and single phase systems and pumps. The company will train and develop you if you have any skill gaps in your knowledge, you will also be involved with increasing the output of the site by working towards a LEAN manufacturing standards.
This role is working a continental shift pattern: 2 days on, 2 nights on, 4 days off.
THE CANDIDATE: Must hold a formal engineering qualification to be considered for this position. This company has an excellent record recruiting candidates from other maintenance engineer roles including ex-forces engineers as well as engineers from production / manufacturing environments. Marine, Naval and Aircraft Engineers from the forces are encouraged to apply.
