Service and Calibration Engineer – £30k + Overtime Pay

Candidate Location: North West territory covering postcodes; M,SK,WF,HX,HD,BD,BB,OL,LA,PR,FY

Salary: £25k basic plus overtime pay (1 ½ after hours and Saturdays, 2 x on Sundays) + benefits

The Role: As a Service and Calibration Engineer you will be based with providing breakdown and preventative maintenance services to clients and authorised agents. You will also be tasked with calibrating individual products and systems at customer premises in line with company procedures. You will be responsible for the accurate management of vehicle spare parts stock and ensure stock is safe and secure at all times. A big part of the role will be to identify and sign up new business and charitable work to make an individual contribution to the performance of the business whilst also participating in planning over time working for out of hours installation and upgrades. Standard working hours are Monday-Friday 8am – 4:30pm.

For this position we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria: You must have working knowledge of weighing and /or IT equipment, with previous experience within a customer service environment. To work well as part of a team but also to work independently and logically in your approach. To be a problem solver, know how to prioritise and have a flexible approach to hours and type of work. In addition to this, you must have a full Driving Licence and live in a suitable location.
