I am looking to speak with experienced Sales Managers or Business Development Mangers who are looking for an opportunity to grow and drive a business from its infancy in Ireland.

The role

You will be representing a major European of high end, premium systems to the construction market. As a stand alone brand you will be instrumental in launching the Ireland arm of this long established, well respected group of companies.

With an appointed sole distributor in Ireland in place already to support with stock, logistics and marketing coupled with the investment and backing of the UK brand, you will not be short of guidance and support when required.

This is an autonomous position where you can bring your own experience, knowledge and strategy to grow the business.

Covering 32 Counties, ideally you will be based in and around Dublin but this is not essential. You will be responsible for developing and implementing an effective sales strategy. Talking to architects and contractors alike, you will identify projects and win business throughout Ireland. This is a cradle to grace sales cycle with the product back sold through your sole distributor. You will also identiify partnerships with specialist contractors and installers throughout Ireland.

KEY SKILLS

  • Specification sales experience
  • CPD/Seminar presentations
  • Ability to form and implement effective sales strategies
  • proven track record within construction sales

Your Background

A strong track record with the construction industry is essential. You will have a demonstrable record of winning business through architects and contractors. Ideally you will have sold insulation, roofing, facades, or any other related product as this will allow you to pick up the technical side of the product range quickly.

You will be highly driven and be looking for a new challenges where you can work in an autonomous role and implement your own sales and marketing strategies.

As a solution focused sales professional you will be an effective business development manager who can seek out new projects and follow through to completion. You will enjoy challenge of launching a new product into the Irish market and have the ability to think on your feet.

You will be process driven, strategic and be comfortable with pricing and margins.
