Sales Operations Manager
Are you an experienced Sales Operations/Data Analysis Specialist looking for an exciting opportunity in the construction industry? We are currently working on behalf of a leading construction company in Ireland, seeking a talented individual to join their team in a pivotal role.
The COMPANY: Our client is an international manufacturer in the construction sector, supplying premium products for over 100 years. They have offices across Ireland and the UK, with a headcount of 700+. They had a turnover of €250M last year, with plans to grow that further in the next 3-5 years. This is an exciting growth phase for the organisation, and due to this rapid expansion, they now require a Sales Operations Manager, to join the team, assisting the sales team with the ambitious growth plans.
THE ROLE: As the Sales Operations Manager, you will collaborate closely with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales operations strategies, processes, and systems. You will report directly to the Head of Sales for UK and Ireland, helping them to develop sales strategies for the team and implement streamlined sales operations processes.
You will use your data analysis skills to evaluate sales data and identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement. A large part of the role will focus on monitoring current sales performance, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), and creating reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights to the management team. You will also conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to identify market trends and growth opportunities. This role will focus on the UK and Ireland business units, so there will be some travel to the UK per month (1-3 days on average).
This is a Monday-to-Friday role and is 100% office-based. They have offices in Cork + Fermanagh, so you may be based out of either location.
THE PERSON: To be successful in this role, you must come from a strong financial and analytical background. Ideally, you will be a qualified accountant or have a business degree or relevant equivalent. You must have experience in a Sales Operations or Data Analysis role, this is essential. You will be driven, and technically minded, with a passion for sales and data analysis. Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, or similar platforms. Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems is highly desirable. Experience in the construction industry, sales processes, and strategies is advantageous but not a deal breaker.
