The Company: A Market Leading Global Educational Company is looking for an instrumental Sales Executive based in Melbourne.
Our client has a global presence as an academic publisher across 6 countries, and will give you the opportunity to work closely with global sales directors.
Having been established for a number of years does not mean that business comes easily; therefore, it is paramount in the current climate that they stay ahead of their competitors by recruiting the best candidates.
The Role: This is a newly created position to develop sales and new business across Academic and Non-Academic markets.
You will be required to generate revenue in the academic and non-academic market in ANZ through such channels as University Libraries, Government organisations, Hospitals and Corporate organisations
Build relationships and generate leads with prospects across multiple sectors and identifying new business opportunities and conduct product demonstrations via online sales presentations and conferences.
Work with supervisor to develop an annual sales strategy by customer, product and region to ensure the strategy is aligned with the overall strategic direction of SAGE and update opportunities and visits on Salesforce and generate monthly reports on performance, against targets.
The Candidate: The ideal candidate will have sold a product to the education market or have some experience in the SaaS technology space.
Liaising with academics daily will be a large part of this role, therefore an element of compassion and excellent communication skills will give you the necessary attributes to work within this price sensitive market.
