In order to be the successful candidate, you will not surprisingly need more than just an impressive track record of new business software sales. You will also need to understand and have an appreciation of marketing. This could be in a number of guises, you could have experience from within a marketing agency, sold marketing software or possibly sold a SaaS based solution and have a marketing degree.
