The Role: We are delighted to be recruiting for a vital new role within the Business development team of one of Europe’s most exciting and innovative start-ups. The successful applicant will join in a varied lead generation role, designed to support the team of closing sales reps. You will be tasked with generating new business, BANT qualified sales meetings with senior level decision makers in Retail, Professional Service, Hospitality, Luxury and Charity organisations. You will create these by following up on B2B marketing leads and prospecting to your own, researched opportunities. Over the course of the first year, you will be trained on the entirely bespoke product offering, the lead generation process and the contract negotiation cycle. The long-term goal for this individual is to promote them to a closing role where they can run sales meetings and close business autonomously.

A growing number of companies are using this method of training as part of their onboarding, and L&D plan. The technology enables them to provide employees with virtual examples of real-life scenarios they would encounter in the workplace, improving their ability to handle and deal with issues and problems in the future.The individually tailored products are also used to help train employees on the rollout of new systems and technology on a global scale. Just some of the satisfied clients are Boots, Nestle, Starbucks and Merck. With many other well-known brands recently signed, they are set for excellent growth. Their solutions are already used across 60 countries and 10 different languages.

As a Sales Development Representative your responsibilities will include:

  • €Generating and setting Enterprise level sales meetings
  • Pitching at C-Level within large companies in the Retail, Luxury and Professional Service sectors
  • Working with a marketing director to qualify and progress inbound enquiries

For this position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • Highly intelligent with a strong academic performance
  • 1 -€” 2 years B2B Sales experience in any market
  • A committed and thorough approach to working
