SUCCESSFUL EUROPE-WIDE COMPANY: A globally known business with a large UK operation servicing the medical, scientific, pharmaceutical and electronic markets. This company have over 40 sites in the UK and are investing heavily following an acquisition by a French business early in 2018.
THE OPPORTUNITY: In this role you will be responsible for production staff and managers, as well as overseeing the engineering and transport functions (approx. 70 reports in total) in a clean room manufacturing environment. You will have direct control and responsibility for staff training and resource allocation and maintaining compliance with the companies HR, and health & safety policies.
THE CANDIDATE: Our client is seeking an experienced Operations Manager with experience leading production teams in a regulated manufacturing environment such as food, drink, laundry or clean room. This is very much a hands-on role and will not suit a “desk based” manager. Candidates with experience managing a multi-national workforce are encouraged to apply.
