The Role: The Maintenance Engineer position is a vital one to the success of our clients manufacturing facility in West Drayton. You will be an important person in reacting to faults and managing proactive maintenance on a variety of moulding machinery as well as PLC’s and other automation equipment. The Maintenance Engineer will spend 2-3 days on, 2-3 days off with every other weekend off. The shift pattern is 7pm-7am for nights. The Maintenance Engineer will set the bar for engineering excellence on the factory floor and lead by example throughout the business.

We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • Experience of maintaining and repairing plastic manufacturing equipment
  • Come from a Mechanical & Electrical engineering background
  • Understand high volume manufacturing environments
  • Have the flexibility to work on different pieces of machinery
  • Has the ability to read technical drawings
  • Comes from a plastic process engineering background
  • A real people person who has good communications skills
