National Key Account Manager – Outdoor Air Filtration Systems

The Role: We have an extremely exciting and rare opportunity to join a multibillion-euro turnover organisation as a National Key Account Manager for a brand-new product range which filters and cleans air in pollution hotspots within municipal areas. As a National Key Account Manager your role will be to strategically attack new markets within the UK, mainly withing central government, local authority, and corporate end user markets to specify and sell-in this ground-breaking technology.

The role of National Key Account Manager will be the first of its kind in the UK for our client and as such they are looking for a strategic new business hunter who has in-roads to local authorities, departments of transport, and central government. This is a long sales process which will involve lobbying government, working with committees & associations for public air spaces, and working with corporate end users who are keen to ensure their workspaces and real estate have cleaner air for everyone.

This is a UK wide role and you will be representing the business at trade shows, preparing and presenting quotes and technical proposals, and dealing with large contract negotiations. The in-house training is second to none technically and you will have support from the European sales team as well as the existing UK sales team within their different divisions.

Requirements: To be considered for the National Key Account Manager role you must:

  • Have a track record selling into central government & local authorities
  • Understand selling into areas like Transport for London, The London Underground, and Network Rail etc
  • Be strategic in your approach
  • Have a new business mentality and work to long sales cycles
  • Be an effective communicator & negotiator

The Package for Business Development Manager is:

  • Basic: £50k-70k basic salary DOE
  • Annual bonus of up to 25% salary
