ONE OF THE WORLDS LEADING MANUFACTURERS OF PRIMARY BUILDING PRODUCTS: With a proud reputation for innovation and sustainability in their manufacturing processes the company has enjoyed a great deal of success over their last 30 years of trading in Australia, and have recently completed a large expansion of their production and distributions facilities across both Australia & New Zealand. Due to their increased focus on growth the company is presently seeking to recruit National Account Manger to lead, develop and manage their existing east coast business unit.
THE ROLE: Covering the East Coast Region, our clients sell a range of primary and engineered building products via a network of Tier 1 Developers, and contractors in the commercial and residential market sectors; servicing these customers via a network of distributors across NSW, VIC and QLD region. A focus of this role will include the ongoing development and management of the companies key channel partners and distributors; whilst at the same time working closely with the sales team to ensure that the sales plan is being implemented and executed efficiently and productively.
THE CANDIDATE: As the position will include full responsibility of key national construction projects, previous sales experience within commercial construction is crucial when applying for this role. Prior knowledge of working for a building product manufacturer is also highly advantageous. It is essential that the National Account Manager has had a strong background working within the distribution channel (retail, merchants, or specialist resellers) and is highly adept around category development, management and analysis. This is a senior sales role, and as such the individual will be part of the National Management team, working closely on a daily basis with other Stake holders to ensure that the business is performing and thriving across Australia.
The role is highly strategic and will afford the successful individual with a great deal of autonomy to really make the role their own.
You will be rewarded with a highly competitive package with a base salary of $120k-135k + super, and a generous bonus.
